Strong weekend at IIACs - Wartburg increased its Iowa Conference women's team title win streak to eight and turned in a solid runner-up finish on the men's side at the 2010 IIAC Championships Feb. 26-27. Head coach Marcus Newsom earned his seventh women's Coach of the Year award, while sophomore Skye Morrison of Chicago, Ill., was named the Most Valuable Athlete after winning the long jump with a meet record effort of 19 feet, seven inches and turning in a high provisional mark in the triple jump during her first-place finish in the event.
