Methodist expands lead, Knights stand 10th
Bolstered by the play of returning top 10 national tournament finishers Katie Dick and Susan Martin, 10-time defending team champion Methodist University of Fayetteville, N.C., developed a large lead through three rounds of the 2008 NCAA Division III women's golf championships. The Monarchs lead second place Southwestern University of Texas by 27 strokes going into the final round. Wartburg, with a 970 total, is 10th going into Friday's action.
